Practice and Exploration of Counselors in Art Colleges in Labor Education for College Students

Abstract: College counselors are the core force of ideological and political education for students. Under the "Five Educations Simultaneously" model, counselors play an irreplaceable role in labor education for college students. They need to continuously innovate their working methods, enhance their professional capabilities, and promote the effective implementation of labor education. This paper explores the practice and exploration of counselors in art colleges in labor education for college students. By analyzing the contemporary significance of labor education and the role positioning of college counselors, it elaborates on the counselors' roles in ideological guidance, practical organization, and mentorship in labor education. Through constructing a systematic curriculum system, carrying out diversified practical activities, and strengthening evaluation and incentive mechanisms, the paper discusses the challenges faced by counselors in labor education and corresponding strategies.
