Abstract:Against the backdrop of practical operational dilemmas existing in cultural relics depositories of frontline archaeological institutions, this paper complies with national Notice on Strengthening the Construction and Management of Archaeological Specimen Depositories in Key National Archaeological Zones and industrial norms for field archaeology. Beyond basic renovations of storage environments and upgrades of hardware facilities, the most efficient and urgent conservation approach for cultural relics lies in establishing modern technological support systems based on routine standardized rectifications. Such technological empowerment enables real-time capture and permanent retention of complete information of unearthed cultural relics, and comprehensively and efficiently elevates the preservation and management capacity of cultural relics in frontline archaeological depositories.
